Overview
Registration Instructions
- Before attempting to register, put "hunt.texas@tpwd.texas.gov" in your email's address book or contact list.
- The "New Users Start Here" link will take you to the registration page.
- Read the Terms and Conditions
- Check the box
- Create a user ID (not your real name) and password
- Enter your valid email address
- After submitting this form, you will receive an email from "do not reply webserver<nobody@prodweb.tpwd.state.tx.us>"
- Check your email
- Click on the link in your email to return to Hunt Texas Online Connection and confirm your email address.
- Go to the "Home/Login" page and log in.
A registered landowner can:
- Make a new lease listing on an existing property, or
- Make new property listing, and
- Make lease listing on that property
- Delete lease listings
- Select the menu item "Edit or Delete Lease Listings"
- Find the lease you want to delete.
- Press the Delete button.
- Edit lease listings
- Select the menu item "Edit or Delete Lease Listings"
- Click on ranch name to edit details of lease
- Press the Submit button to change details of lease
- Edit a property description
- Delete a property listing
(All leases associated with that property are automatically deleted first.) - Contact a hunter
This can be done anonymously through the "Contact Hunter or Landowner" page.- In the To: box insert a valid User ID of the hunter, from his email message to you.
- In the Subject: box enter the Ranch Name that the hunter inquired about. If you have multiple leases on a ranch, give the hunter enough detail to know which lease you're talking about.
- Fill out the Message box.
- Anything a hunter can do.
The registered hunter can:
- Search through lease listings
- Use as many or as few search items as you like
- The more items are checked, the smaller the list
- The smaller the list, the more specific to your needs
- Contact a landowner
- This can be done through the "All Lease Listings" page or the "Contact Hunter or Landowner" page.
- To contact a landowner from the "All Lease Listings" page
- Select a Ranch Name to view details of a lease, including the Lease ID. The "Lease Details" page will allow you to contact the landowner.
- Fill out the message box.
- To contact a landowner from the "Contact Hunter or Landowner" page
- In the To: box insert a valid User ID that is found on the "All Lease Listings" page.
- In the Subject: box insert a Ranch Name and Lease ID found on the "All Lease Listings" page.
- Fill out the message box.
- Change password. After you are logged in, you may change your password to something more to your liking.
- Reset password - a new password will be sent to you.
- After clicking the [RESET PASSWORD] button, you will be sent an email containing a machine-generated password.
- You may copy and paste this password into the login form on the "Home/Login" page.
- After you're logged in, you may want to change your password to something shorter and more memorable.
